What does the commute really cost?
Put in the trip, how often you're in, and what you spend. You get weekly and yearly totals in money and hours, and what you'd save with more days at home.
How the numbers work
A commute day is a round trip: one-way minutes times two. Weekly money and time are that daily figure times the days you're in the office. Annual figures multiply by the weeks you enter, so you can skip leave. Days commuting is office days times weeks; working days in transit is annual hours divided by eight.
Daily out-of-pocket is fares, parking, and tolls as you actually pay them. Per-kilometre mode is a round trip at the rate you enter, plus parking if you add it. Extra WFH days come off the office-day count. That's lifestyle cost — what you'd stop spending and sitting in transit — not tax advice.
Everything runs in your browser. Your last set of numbers is remembered on this device and never leaves it.
